Rédaction personnelle. Ce texte est bien pauvre en informations si l'on considère tout ce que l'on pourrait dire sur ce continent d'une richesse des plus exceptionnelles. J'espère t'avoir aidé, même avec ce bien faible digest !

Australia is a huge continent of almost 7.7 million square kilometers (about 12 times France). Located in Oceania, Australia is bordered to the west by the Indian Ocean, and to the east by the Pacific Ocean.

Its population was 25 million in 2018, a density of 3.27 inhabitants per square kilometer. The population is concentrated on about 3% of the territory, mainly in the major cities of the east, southeast, southwest and Tasmanian coasts.

Its rural population of 7% is concentrated on a thin and very fertile crescent near these cities, the rest of the continent can be considered as desert.

Originally populated by Aboriginal peoples, Australia experienced British colonization in 1788. Around 1850, these colonies became autonomous parliamentary democracies that federated in 1901 to form the Commonwealth of Australia. Participating very actively in the war effort in 1939-1945, Australia has developed very strong relations with England. These relations were distended at the end of the conflicts to be replaced by very powerful economic links with the United States and Japan. Australia will take an active part in the South Vietnam conflict following the Korean War.

Australia's economy is based on an outstanding mineral wealth: Bauxite, iron ore, oil shale, nickel, lead, silver, are dominated by gigantic diamond deposits among the largest in the world. Australia holds in reserve the world's largest uranium resources and gigantic coal reserves.

These resources make this continent one of the richest and most autonomous in the world and its proximity to China provides considerable wealth. It is one of the countries with the highest per capita wealth in the world.

Backed by a very pragmatic economic policy, Australia has allowed the dollar to float, which has enabled it to devalue by balancing it without any public debt. The population is rich but is also one of the most indebted in the world.

Australia has become a popular tourist destination. Sydney alone is home to 20% of the Australian population and includes almost 200 different nationalities. Sydney offers a wide range of discoveries, both for its discontinuous cultural events, national parks, shops, restaurants, museums, and fashionably comparable locations in New York. Melbourne, Bisbane, Darwin, Alice Spring, are also essential tourist places with inestimables riches.

Australia is a most modern country where life is good. Climatic, geographical, architectural, artistic, and an exceptional natural wealth make it one of the favorite destinations of many tourists and of course students who find jobs in the field of high technologies, architecture and culture and build high quality personal and professional relationships.
