1) On a: T(°C) = [tex]\frac{(T(°F) - 32) * 5}{9}[/tex]

On remplace T(F) par 68°F:

T(°C) = [tex]\frac{(68 - 32) * 5}{9}[/tex]

T(°C) = [tex]\frac{36 * 5}{9}[/tex]

T(°C) = [tex]\frac{180}{9}[/tex]

T(°C) = 20°C

A New-York la température annoncée est de 20°C.

2) On fait de même en remplaçant T(F) par 23°F:

T(°C) = [tex]\frac{(23 - 32) * 5}{9}[/tex]

T(°C) = [tex]\frac{(-9) * 5}{9}[/tex] (Les 9 se simplifient)

T(°C) = - 5°C

3) On a: T(°C) = [tex]\frac{(T(°F) - 32) * 5}{9}[/tex]

<=> T(°C) * 9 = (T(°F) - 32) * 5

<=> T(°F) - 32 = [tex]\frac{(T(°C) * 9}{5}[/tex]

<=> T(°F) = [tex]\frac{(T(°C) * 9}{5}[/tex] + 32

On remplace T(°C) par 0°C:

T(°F) = [tex]\frac{0 * 9}{5}[/tex] + 32

T(°F) = 32°F

0°C correspond à 32°F.
